The desire of “Tree of life fellowship” (“Wspólnota Drzewo Zycia” in Polish) is to provide an encouraging environment for people to learn about and experience God’s fullness. A rich and satisfying relationship with Jesus will empower us together to reach out to our neighbors with his love through friendship evangelism, special events, and community service.
Zakopane, Poland (about 1.5 hours south of Kraków) is a snow-sport ski resort town of 30,000 in the Tatr Mountains of southern Poland. The cost of living in Zakopane is much higher than surrounding areas due to the large number of tourists who visit the town in the summer and winter months. The main street is a very nice walking street where it is a lot like an outdoor mall. The largest attractions in the city are the ski jumps, which are famous for producing Olympic ski jumpers. I enjoy the town very much, many of the locals despise the tourists, but for me it makes it feel a little like a larger city with all the people. Plus there are two McDonald’s, one on the main center street, and another as you come into town from Kraków, I am not a big fan of McDonald’s but it is sometimes nice to “feel” like I am in the States.
Carol, Denise, Chris, myself and the others of “Tree of Life Fellowship” believe we can empower the people of Zakopane (and hopefully other places in the future) by sharing with them, the freedom which comes from knowing Jesus Christ personally. We hope to communicate this through friendship evangelism, and community service, both of which are not “natural” in the local culture (even in the State’s it is not natural). The cry of our heart is to see this land healed, from abuse, depression, and religious rules.

For everyone on the "ministry" team to be filled up, encouraged, and able to pour out our love. A meeting place - If we buy ~$80,000, to rent ~$2,500/month Monthly support for our meeting place, any amount is good, as long as it is consistent and we can depend on it. That we can speak God's wisdom into the lives of these people, so that they can then speak God's wisdom into even more lives. Sound Equipment - for services, and events in town ~$2,000 Bibles for our young adults, and new members - English and Polish - May be sent to this address. For the religious regulations, and division of the church be removed and healed.
